Brand Positioning & Strategic Visibility

Most engineering & design studios struggle to find new clients. The problem isn't capabilities — it's narrative.

I help founders of engineering and industrial design studios build the strategic narrative their technical work actually deserves. So your studio competes on criteria, not price.

01 / The diagnosis

The pattern I've seen in every studio I've worked with.

Exceptional technical capability. Weak market narrative. Growing through referrals — and hoping the work would speak for itself.

01

Your three best projects in the last two years came through someone who already knew you.

02

Your LinkedIn describes what your studio has done — not what you do for your clients.

03

A founder in your ICP would not understand why you in ten seconds on your profile.

04

You can't remember the last inbound message from a potential client who didn't already know you.

That's not a sales problem. It's a narrative one.

02 / The thesis

Why most technical studios stay invisible.

Your studio is invisible by design — not because of the products, but because of how we talk about them.

For ten years I designed products inside engineering studios. Round Corner was my own. It closed in 2024.

When I analyzed the failure I looked for the technical mistake first, the wrong product-market fit. Most engineers do. I never found it.

The mistake was somewhere else: nobody outside our immediate network knew what we did, or why it mattered.

Every studio I'd worked with had the same pattern. Exceptional technical capability. Weak market narrative. Growing through referrals — and hoping the work would speak for itself. It doesn't. It never did.

That's why I built this consultancy. Not to leave engineering behind. To fix the problem I should have fixed years earlier — for myself, and now for the studios still making the same mistake.

03 / The work

What I do, who I do it for, and what you get.

What I do

Strategic positioning, not marketing.

The work of articulating who you are, who you're for, and why someone should choose you over a cheaper competitor — so your proposals close faster, your pipeline stops depending on referrals, and your team competes on criteria, not price.

  • Not branding
  • Not content marketing
  • Not community management
Who I work with

Engineering-driven studios that have outgrown referrals.

Studios at least 5 years in operation, led by a founder or technical director.

Based in Spain, the UK, Benelux, Germany or North America.

The filter

If you lead an engineering-driven company and feel your capabilities are stronger than your market perception — this is for you.

04 / The process

How we move from invisible to inevitable.

01

Diagnostic

Structured analysis of where your studio's narrative stands today: what you say, what your market hears, and the gap between the two. One conversation. Written deliverable.

02

System

We design the strategic narrative your team can actually use: in proposals, in sales conversations, on your website, in hiring. Not a campaign. A reproducible system.

03

Implementation

We put the narrative to work where it matters most: LinkedIn presence, founder communications, proposal language. So the right founders start reaching out — without being asked.

Engagements start with the Diagnostic. Always.

05 / The work behind the work

Twelve years of building things. Now at the service of the studios that build them.

2014 — 2022

Industrial Design Engineering

Product design and engineering across multiple high-performance industries: consumer electronics, automotive, Formula 1. Where I learned what technical excellence costs — and why it isn't enough.

2022 — 2024

Round Corner Engineering

Design of hardware products integrating sustainability criteria. The work was solid. The market never knew it existed. The lesson cost me three years and a company.

2025 — Now

The Digital Consultancy

Strategic positioning for engineering-driven studios. Built on the mistake I should have fixed years earlier — for myself, and now for you.

I do the writing. You get the credit.

Does your studio's narrative match the work it actually does?

A 30-minute call. No pitch, no slides — just a conversation about where you stand and what would move it forward.
